Welcome to Sapphire Lakes in Newark, Nottinghamshire. Set in 13 acres of the peaceful village of Cromwell just off the A1, the lakes offer a delight for both the carp & coarse fishing angler.
We have 3 lakes here catering for the needs of all anglers, offering 2 specimen carp lakes and a course lake, you are sure to have a truly enjoyable experience.

Carp Fishing Lakes in Cromwell
Lake 1 Coarse Fishing Lake
Heavily stocked with Common & Mirror Carp to mid teens, Tench, Bream, Perch and Roach. Day ticket and Accommodation.
Lake 2 Carp Lake
Stocked with both Common & Mirror Carp to 35lb+, Day ticket water featuring 6 swims, 4 singles and 2 doubles.
Lake 3 carp lake with 2 Lodges
Heavily stocked with Carp to 35lb, Roach, Bream, Perch and Rudd. This lake is only fishable when booking Alans Lodge and Grahams Lodge, no other pegs available on this lake.
There are now a choice of 3 Holiday Lodges on site and now available to book via the Swimbooker app.
They are 2x 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom Lodge, the 2 bed have 2 bathroom lodges and have a fully functional kitchen and smart TV’s in the living room and bedrooms, and a 1 bedroom Lodge.
The master bedroom has a double bed with on suite. The other bedroom comprises of 2 single beds and a separate bathroom.
