Welcome to Sapphire Lakes in Newark, Nottinghamshire. Set in 13 acres of the peaceful village of Cromwell just off the A1, the lakes offer a delight for both the carp & coarse fishing angler.
We have 3 lakes here catering for the needs of all anglers, offering 2 carp specimen lakes and a course lake, you are sure to have a truly enjoyable experience.

Carp Fishing Lakes in Cromwell
Lake 1 Coarse Fishing Lake
Heavily stocked with Common & Mirror Carp to mid teens, Tench, Bream, Perch and Roach. Day ticket and Accommodation.
Lake 2 Carp Lake
Stocked with both Common & Mirror Carp to 35lb+, This lake is only fishable as a lake exclusive when booking Alans Lodge.
Lake 3 Lodge and Lake Exclusive
Heavily stocked with Carp to 33lb, Roach, Bream, Perch and Rudd. This lake is only fishable as a lake exclusive when booking Alans Lodge.
There are now a choice of 2 Holiday Lodges on site and both offer Lake Excluse and now available to book via the Swimbooker app.
They are both 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom lodges and have a fully functional kitchen and smart TV’s in the living room and bedrooms.
The master bedroom has a double bed with on suite. The other bedroom comprises of 2 single beds and a separate bathroom.
